Today woke up at 3 actually. Hehe... nola, after that slept again till 7 in the morning. After that, went to IT centre to check mail and set up my blog (as you can see). At 10.30, walk with Sue Li to Hope City Church. The message today was pretty relevant to me. It talked about going through a transition period which I felt was happening last year. A lot of what the pastor said made sense about moving from here to there. As we go through life, we will inevitably change. No matter how much we hate to, we will have to. Today’s message, taught that God wants us to change. He wants us to continuously change, moving closer to Him. It’s the devil that will make us resist this change as he does not want us to know God more. Therefore, we have to beat him by fighting the urge to stay the same, dig in and claim what God has prepared for our lives.
After service, the church had a buffet lunch so, had lunch there. Then, I took the bus home. On the way back, met with Aik Kian and his friends and had a short chat. Got home about 3, 4 in the evening. Later on, Shaun and the rest wanted to eat dinner outside, so I just followed along. After dinner, the rest decided to dye their hair red. Since they had leftover dye, guess who was the (un)lucky victim was?
That’s right, I got rope in!! Sigh... oh well, should be something new. Finally, Shaun said I have changed since May. Looking back, I guess I have changed. Last year, I was too emotional. After that wake up call, now, I’m feeling more secure and can be myself. Well, most things have been settled, so I’ll soon have time to take a few photos of my room and apartment. Check back here for the new photos.

1st week back
And finally, the first post back in Sheffield!! Well, it's been a busy week of unpacking the house, buying needed accesories and settling all the uni and outside necessaries. In fact, am still to settle some agendas which, unfortunately, has to wait for Monday. Well, going off to church now, later people!
Restart
Right now, it's the start of a new semester and hopefully, the start of something better. But before I jump in, here's an update of what I've been up to since last June.
First of all though, there are some amendments I'd like to make about my previous posts. After coming back and being with my family, I can finally put my finger on my emotional rollercoaster last year. No one close in Sheffield, was very insecure. Old friends and family, they know me best, and I can be my obnoxious self with them. Going to try that here this year so for all those Sheffieldians, don't worry! You'll get a taste of it too!! Bwahahahahaaha...
The other thing I want to clear up is, after reviewing the Dinner and Dance, I guess I was a little harsh. The MASSOC team really did a great job on it and fully deserve credit for it. It's just too bad I couldn't enjoy all their hardwork. So, to the MASSOC team of 02/03, kudos on a job well done and sorry if I have offended anybody.
So, back to my summer holidays. Back in Malaysia, got a job through my parents in July. It was pretty good. Lots of hard, manual labour but it was fun. I got to play with saws!! And network cables. After all the hands on work for 2 weeks, had to quit due to the company relocating to Rawang (too far to travel) and the fact that I had to study for my resit. Yes, for all the ones who didn't know, I failed 2 papers! Aiyah, one month of holiday down the drain. After the resits, went for a holiday with my family in Cameron Highlands. The cool air, the strawberries, the fresh vegetables, and the cool hotel room! Wahahahahaha... (heck, I brought over one jar of strawberry jam to Sheffield. Anyone for bread?)
After that, just spend a lot of time at home, getting ready for coming back and just having a real holiday!! Went out with friends, ride the rides in Berjaya (pretty cool place), bowl and shoot arrows.
And now, I'm back in Sheffield!! Watch out people, the Jing is back!!
P.S. note to self, watch PGL somehow.
